Meet the Authors event at RBS

Last week, Mandy Flint participated in a “meet the authors” event arranged by RBS Focused Women’s network at the RBS London headquarters. See more pictures below.

Mandy, together with Vanessa Vallely, Jessica Chivers, Jenny Garrett and Kay White formed a panel of authors who were asked questions linked to their respective books as well as with regards to book writing/publishing generally.

They were also asked for their inspirations on how they had come to this point in their careers and what had helped or hindered them. The panel answered questions on the impact of change along with many questions about the challenges women face in business.

It was a great event with the participants feedback indicating that it was one of the best events they have ever had.

The style of open talking with questions and answers made it very informative, interactive and fun.

The authors were all very honest with their responses, along with a theme of “ you can take control “, self responsibility and taking an extremely practical focus.

Good fun all-round!
