Transformational change

What do you and a caterpillar have in common?

‘Imagine an ice cube that melts and changes into water. It has not necessarily transformed; it’s only changed, as it can be changed again. It can become ice again if placed in the freezer. Now imagine a caterpillar that transforms into a butterfly—the change is so transformational and complete that it can’t be changed back—real transformation has happened. That’s also your journey when you are truly committed to ongoing, authentic growth. You remain you, but you keep growing and evolving, and as you develop your ability to think and relate, going back to the more junior leader is neither possible nor desirable.’
