Your impact is your legacy

Have we ever told you why this website is called 2020 Vision Leader?
If not, here it is:
In the mid-2010s, after having had two leadership book published (The Team Formula: A Leadership Tale of a Team who found their Way and Leading Teams: 10 Challenges 10 Solutions), we recognised that we needed a shared platform which could represent our books as well as us, as collaborating leadership strategists, authors and speakers.
With an eye on the future
We are always looking towards the future to gauge what’s around the corner and how leaders need to prepare and develop their capabilities to meet the opportunities and challenges of the future.
2020 as a year had a nice ring to it and as it wasn’t too far into the future, a year people could paint a vision for and relate to in a practical, action-taking way.
Being perceptive
But that wasn’t the whole story, more importantly we connected with the idea of having 20/20 vision as a leader. Medically, 20/20 vision is considered normal vision, not perfect vision (as it’s often referred as).
Metaphorically though, 20/20 vision is often described as being keenly or acutely perceptive and that’s a skill that great leaders can develop. And with a curious mindset, continuously exploring the world around us, learning from our interactions with others, we can grow as leaders – to meet the opportunities and challenges now and in the future. And that’s why this website is called 2020 Vision Leader.
With a third book added to our shared library in 2019 – The Leader’s Guide to Impact – our 2020 Vision Leader platform keeps growing, with plenty more thought-provoking content coming in 2020.
Thanks for joining us on this journey through 2020 and focus on opportunities for non-stop leadership learning!
